Abstract

The study of bimetallic nanoparticles has been of great interest in the last decades because of their promising potential in different application areas because they exhibit improved features in comparison with their monometallic counterparts. The adequate control of the size, shape, architecture and metal composition plays an important role in the improvement of their characteristics on which depend their multiple applications, since catalysis science (probably the most studied field for bimetallic catalysts) to their use as biosensors or biomedical applications.
